During the holiday season, no home is complete without the traditional poinsettia plant. The poinsettia is a treasured seasonal tradition. Learn more about its history here. Whether red, white, or pink, or any combination, the vibrant bracts automatically say “Christmas”.
But did you know how versatile the poinsettia can be? Here are some new ways of displaying the beloved blooms.
We love small poinsettias! You can never have too many! From 1” Pixies to 4” pots, we love using small poinsettia plants for their versatility. In the picture below, one inch “Pixie poinsettias” are placed inside individual containers and used as part of the place setting for a holiday table.
Small plants can have big impact with groupings like this row of poinsettias down the center of the table as seen on Decoist.
White done right. White poinsettias are elegant and can match any decor. Cherry Kay offers lots of poinsettia inspiration on her blog “Entertaining Women” like this stunning tablescape below.
